This one has been popular among beauty YouTubers and bloggers alike, and I don’t blame them because I couldn’t even look past how cute the packaging is and I don’t even like pink!
But besides the packaging, there were plenty of promises on the label that piqued my interest: Dual-use shower and bath body wash? Moisture system that reduces the drying affects of regular soaps? Soap and Glory’s signature Fruitgo fragrance!?! Hell yes, I’m there!
For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, Soap and Glory is an upbeat brand hailing from the UK with their vibrant range of beauty, bath and body products. More often than not, similar brands to Soap & Glory subject animals to cruel and unnecessary testing of their products but these guys? Nah, Soap & Glory don’t!
A 500ml bottle of Soap and Glory Foam Call Shower & Bath Body Wash will set you back $14 AUD.
In comparison to LUSH (another cosmetics brand I love to bits), who charge $29.95 for the same amount of product that’s nothing!
This body wash was formulated to moisturise your skin as you lather yourself up. I can vouch for that! And so can the boyfriend, because I swear he’s the one who used up much of this bottle.
I also love their witty labels on the packaging:
Everyone uses soap.
(at least everyone we like to spend time with.)
The consistency of this body wash is more like a milky lotion rather than like a gel. It lathers up pretty well, giving me more bang for my buck when I don’t need to use a palm full every time I hop into the shower.
Then you have the scent. Oh my, the Fruitigo scent is iconic to the Soap & Glory brand with citrusy notes of yuzu, orange oil blended with green fig and jungle pomelo essence. Exotic!
So all in all, this is definitely a body wash I would purchase again but not after I try the rest of their shower gels. I want to try Clean On Me next 😀
