Since trying the Soap and Glory Hand Food Hand Cream and thoroughly enjoying it, I went back to the store to grab a couple of other delicious treats including this Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub that I’m reviewing today.

The blended scent of maple syrup, banana and almond is what compelled me to make this mine, plus, it makes me feel like a smoothie star. Ha! See what I did there?

I’m a sucker for deliciously scented skincare products, particularly those for bath and shower because I like walking around smelling like dessert! Is that weird? Probably. Do I care? Nah!

I find it quite funny that they had to include “THIS IS NOT A FOOD” on the packaging. Though, a glance at the ingredients list would be enough to tell me it is NOT EDIBLE!

However, I must admit banana, sweet almond, oatmeal and sugar are the few ingredients in this Breakfast Scrub really does scream ‘EAT ME!!1’

300ml (aka 10.1 US fl oz.) of product has taken me a while to get through. You really don’t need a lot to keep you scrubbing – Soap & Glory recommend to “scoop out a handful” and “rub it between your palms” to work up the slightest bit of a lather and with the aid of some water,  and then just go to town. Scrub away!

Here’s a dollop of it on a butter knife to show you how thick this Soap and Glory Breakfast Scrub really is. The thickness is a bit like crunchy peanut butter, only extra chunky with the sugar granules and oat kernel meal – definitely a good consistency for a scrub.

There’s a few different types of exfoliants of varying sizes in this scrub as you can see. From the finer grains of sugar to the coarser cupuacu seed meal, just be careful around damaged or sensitive areas of the skin. Don’t want you scrubbing yourself raw now, do we?

Yum! Anything with the word ‘breakfast’ in it piques my interest! It looks so delicious, apart from the banana. I think I’m one of the few people in the world who doesn’t like bananas haha. Beautiful photos and review! I have never tried anything from Soap and Glory because it’s not readily available in Aus, hence I always forget about it.
