After a little bit of a lover’s quarrel, I left the boyfriend at home for a bit because I just needed some time to clear my head. But instead, I ended up doing a little bit of shopping… But hey – it’s retail therapy, and it worked! So I ain’t complaining at all.

I’m attracted to Lush stores like a moth to a flame. It’s not really a bad thing, it’s just dangerous for my bank account! I really can’t wait to review the Shine So Bright hair balm, so far it’s doing pretty good – now to see if it really works over the next few weeks.

I also dropped by David Jones to get TheBalm’s Schwing liquid eyeliner, but to no avail… So instead I wandered off to the Aēsop counter and bought myself yet another lip balm. I asked if they had the Tuberose Lip Heal back yet, and the kind sales assistant told me that they were gone before she started working there and there wasn’t any logical reasoning behind taking them off the catalogue in Australia either. So instead, I bought the protective lip balm which has SPF30, perfect for the scorching Sydney Summertime. It smells just like the Aēsop Rosehip Seed Lip Cream, which is a bonus because I really like the scent! Reviews are coming soon, after my exam on the 7th January!

I bought this one in replacement of the Kit Cosmetics one my boyfriend bought me not so long ago. I lost it after a trip down to Wollongong, and have searched high and low for it in my room – so the only thing I can conclude is that it’s gone forever! I felt so bad telling him that I’d lost the first lip balm he bought me… Yeah, I take my lip balm a little too seriously eh? Whatever! Lip balm junkie for life!

Much love,
