cruelty-free concealers under 30 dollars

The one thing I can’t live without is concealer. I especially couldn’t do without it during my uni years (because, studying too hard ya know?), and I still can’t do without it because I refuse to sleep early.

I’m pretty much finished with my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer but I’m not quite ready to fork out $40 AUD for another one, so I made a list of some more affordable alternatives that I could check out.

The following are all concealers that are not only cruelty-free with justifiable prices, they’ve also earned themselves some great reviews all over the internet. So if you were looking for some inspiration for a new cruelty-free concealer for under $30, I’d go check these out!

Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Concealer

$20 USD / $26 AUD (mecca.com.au)

Touted as a creamy, pigment-rich and buildable formula, this concealer contains a natural combo of Vitamins A and E with Chilean Tree and bark extracts to moisturise, de-puff and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Choose from 3 shades: Perfect Nude / Medium, Vanilla / Light, Honey / Tan

theBalm timeBalm Concealer

$18 USD / $26.95 AUD (David Jones)

This one isn’t just a smooth, anti-wrinkle concealer for dark circles and blemishes, it also protects your skin from environmental stresses. Vitamins A, C and E and soybean oil is supposed to keep your skin hydrated around the clock. It’s available in 9 shades, so there’s no doubt you should find a shade that’s perfect for your complexion.

Nude by Nature Liquid Mineral Concealer 10mL

$19.94 AUD

This is a full coverage concealer for those stubbornly visible spots and blemishes that’s suitable for all skin types. You should expect for this concealer to stay all day! Besides being cruelty-free, it is also free of parabens, talc, silicones and bismuth.

Choose from 3 shades: Light, Medium, Dark

Living Nature Cosmetics Concealer 7mL

$26.95 USD/ $26.90 AUD (greenorganics.com.au)

Living Nature’s concealer contains Manuka Honey to nourish the skin and Manuka Oil to protect the skin. The pure minerals in the product give skin an adequate amount of coverage and a flawless finish. It’s also available to UK/Ireland customers via the exclusive distributor ‘Botanical Brands’.

Josie Maran Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon 3g

$20 USD / $25 AUD (mecca.com.au)

Infused with 100% argan oil and 6 subtle shades to suit all skin tones, this concealer is not only ultra hydrating, but it’s also made of natural, earth-friendly ingredients. It comes in the form of a chubby pencil with a retractable tip – no sharpening needed (yay!).

Choose from 6 shades: creme / Fair 1, butter with cool undertone / Light 1, butter with warm undertone / Light 2, linen / Medium 1, desert / Medium 2, espresso / Dark

Juice Beauty Correcting Concealer 10mL

$18 USD / $25.90 AUD (greenorganics.com.au)

Formulated with a long list of organic ingredients, from aloe leaf juice to grape seed oil, Juice Beauty’s correcting concealer protects skin from free radical damage and moisturises and replenishes. It’s formulated without parabens, petroleum and sodium lauryl sulfates with no added artificial dyes and fragrances.

Choose from 2 shades: Ivory, Sand

Now that I’ve got all these cruelty-free options to choose from, I will have to colour match myself in store (if possible). I’ve taken a liking to Juice Beauty after using their sunscreen, but there aren’t that many stockists in Sydney.

So I’ll most likely check out the Too Faced and the Josie Maran ones first.

Which cruelty-free concealers do you swear by? Any that made this list? Do let me know!

Much love,
