Last time I wrote about the results from a shopping trip was in January last year which featured a number of products from Benefit because I made that rookie mistake of gleaning over their company’s animal testing policy.
This time, I purchased a bunch of Kat Von D products just to find out they’re distributed by Kendo who own other lines that are tested on animals. I don’t know how to feel about that yet though, all I know is I love her lip sticks.
Studded Kiss Lipstick L’Ecole des Femmes, Kat Von D
I was originally going get the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree after seeing the swatches on Temptalia but decided against to get the Studded Kiss lipstick in L’Ecole des Femmes instead. It’s such a pretty peachy pink that could easily be my next signature shade. 😀
Motorhead, a deep, burgundy red, almost made it to the cashier with me but I decided against it and got Vampira instead.
I prefer matte over any other finish purely because they’re a little more fuss-free, you know, less touch ups and I feel they’re a little more true to colour than products with other finishes.
Lust perfume, LUSH Cosmetics
This was somewhat of a repurchase because I’ve owned (and reviewed) the solid version that made me fall in love with the scent in the first place. Now usually I’m not a huge fan of jasmine scents because they tend to be too much for my nose.
Lust is my favourite perfume from LUSH, but I wish they would come back with the limited edition LUSH scents because I would BUY ALL THE ROSE JAM!!!
Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bachelorette and Vampira, Kat Von D
Lime Crime’s Velveteens have nothing on these babies because never have I tried a matte liquid lipstick that doesn’t dry out my lips. What is this sorcery?!
I’ll definitely have to do a review on these soon because the new shades will be released in Australia in the coming months.
Monarch Palette, Kat Von D
I was already eyeing this palette before the salesgirl at Sephora approached me and recommended I got this palette because it’s got a beautiful range of neutral shadows with satin finishes. I can’t wait to play with this! But I’m hoping I won’t turn this eyeshadow buying into a habit because frankly, my bank account doesn’t like it at all!
5 Star Favorites, Too Faced and LUSH x Vivienne Westwood Knot Wrap
And that is what I bought today I’m pretty excited to try out all the new stuff, but I’m thinking I should go on a shopping ban until I’ve reviewed all the stuff I’ve currently got
