5 Beauty YouTubers To watch

When I find myself stumped for make up ideas, I always, always look to YouTube for some inspiration. Every beauty vlogger on YouTuber has different things to offer their viewers with each and every one of their individual styles. I’ve picked the following 5 beauty YouTubers to watch based on several factors: their genuineness, humour and relevance.

These are in no particular order!

Zoe of Zoella280390 is an English beauty vlogger does some pretty cool haul and favourites videos. From time to time, she’ll upload collab videos with other YouTubers – if that’s your thing. Her bubbly personality is what got me to hit the subscribe button on her channel in the first place. I do kind of miss her haul videos though…

Queenie Chan of BeautyQQ is a Hong Kong-based YouTuber who also does some TV presenting. She produces her videos with a free-spirited attitude whilst sharing her make up and beauty tips and tricks with a wacky sense of humour. Most of her videos are in Cantonese, but there are usually English instructions in the subtitles.

I like Ruth from AModelRecommends because she gives insight to many aspects of skin care and different beauty regimes. She’s also an international fashion model, so you’ll occasionally get a sneak peek of up and coming campaigns for various brands. Ruth usually reviews mid to higher end products that I can’t afford, but it’s always a good beauty-perve :D.

Fellow Aussie, Lauren Curtis of laurenbeautyy on YouTube, has a similar kind of bubbliness to Zoella except she’s a lot more make up tutorial-focused. She has done several hair tutorials and product reviews too, but her channel is mostly centred around her make up artistry. She uses a combination of ‘drugstore’ and higher end make up products, making it pretty easy to recreate her make up looks without breaking the bank.

Karissa from saturdaynightsalrite is a Canadian currently living in Australia who gives some pretty good make up advice. I mostly enjoy her reviews/favourites videos because it just feels really genuine and it doesn’t feel like she’s pushing people to buy products. You’ll occasionally see her upload collaborative videos with other Aussie beauty vloggers, as well as challenge videos :).

Lisa Eldridge is my all-time favourite, followed by Pixiwoo and Pixi2woo (but their early stuff was better than now…)

Oh yeah! Lisa Eldridge has a lot of informative video tutorials hey? The pixiwoo girls too! I find that a lot of YouTubers’ earlier stuff are a lot better than their current… some have even become a little bit of a sell out :
